Here's how to lay 'em down:
Start by placing the slabs on top of your grass in the layout you want.
Grab a flat spade or lawn edging cutter and mark around the edge of each slab.
Carefully remove the grass and soil within your marked area, going down about 70-100 mm.
Now, fill that hole with fine gravel (3-6 mm) until it's about 50-80 mm deep. Compact it down real good to make sure it's nice and level.
Gently lower your slab into place and give it a few taps with a rubber mallet to even things out.
Make sure the surface of the slab sits about 5-8 mm below the surrounding soil to avoid any run-ins with the lawnmower.
If there's a little gap around the tile, just fill it in with some of the soil you dug up earlier.
And there you have it! Your pathway is ready to strut its stuff – no waiting required! Now, go ahead and take a stroll on your new path – you've earned it!"
Be mindful not to let the porcelain slabs stick out above the soil level to avoid any potential damage to the lawnmower while mowing the grass.
